Our Finnish sauna sits in a spot we’ve always loved – overlooking the peaceful wetlands where herons glide across the water and the landscape changes with every season. The warmth wraps around you while you watch the marshlands through large windows, creating a sense of calm that’s hard to find elsewhere.

The Marshlands: Nature at Your Doorstep
The Graignes marshlands aren’t just a beautiful view – they’re alive with wildlife and peaceful walking trails. From your sauna, you might spot deer grazing in the early morning, hares darting through the grasses, or dozens of bird species going about their day.
Many of our guests bring binoculars and a camera. Some come back with stories of patient mornings spent bird-watching. Others simply enjoy the tranquility of walking the trails that wind through this unique landscape.

Pet-Friendly: Your furry friends are welcome at La Nouvelle Histoire. While they can’t join you in the sauna, they’ll love exploring the grounds safely while you unwind.
Location: Set within walking distance from both gîtes, our wellness area offers complete privacy while remaining easily accessible. The surrounding grounds invite leisurely strolls before or after your session.
